I regularly enjoy the game World of Warcraft. However on this paticular day it froze while playing. I was to say the least very shocked... with the system that i have i am usually able to play at the top settings without much of a problem.

amd64bit (K8N Neo2)
saphire radeon x800 xt platinum
512 ram.

i also have a cool drive4 installed..

i am thinking my videocard is overheating and so the game freezes (but i am able to sometimes minimize....)

can someone help me out?

(i see that my vga goes to around 45.0 Celcius. )

u have close to the best video card, but while playing a MMORPG you want atleast 1 gig of ram. WoW has much more lag that SWG and when I installed my second stick of 512, my computer ran awesome, hardly ever any load time. So i suggest its the ram.

What can also occur is a client crash, and thats the worst thing about mmorpg's are that they take forever for them to run perfectly, with swg, there were patches everyday for the first year, now its almost up to a week without patches.
