Computer doesn't start..?

I had a problem with my computer where it just died on me. It started up and would go to POST but beep 4 times and restart. I looked it up and read it could be a problem with the memory, so I reseated the 2 sticks and still nothing.. now it won't even POST at all. The computer starts then dies immediately..

CPU: Intel i5-something crap i dont even remember what processor i have
Radeon HD6980
Corsair TX650
2x8 Corsair Vengence

Try a cmos reset. If that doesn't work, try one memory stick at a time.

Tried resetting ram.. now it's booting, but BSOD right as the windows load screen comes up

Try what he suggested... one RAM stick at a time in different slots.

It wasn't the RAM.

Somehow in the BIOS, AHCI got set to IDE mode so my computer wouldn't boot at all.. very strange

I switched it back and everything is normal.. that is weird.. I didn't change anything.. How could have it changed by itself

Did you update the BIOS recently? That would cause it or are you overclocking?
