Uh no. Ive had two AMD chips die on me so I speak from personal experience. Therefore I let people know what I went through to save them from any agony awaiting them. Some people cant take it, they get all mad. I cant help that.

I'm starting to suspect though that it was never 100% stable before, it would occasionally crash halo even before summer and I thought it was just Halo might be buggy. Now I've played it on and off all summer not overclocked and it never crashed. I tried clocking it at 2.3 just today and seems ok, so I might have just answered my own question. 😕
