I was playing Everquest when all of the sudden my screen started having these little lines across it. It's like having bad cable TV. Whenever there is a bright color on one area of my screen, its sorta bleeds itelf over to the right. Its very strange and hard to describe. Its almost giving me motion sickness :p
I have reinstalled my 3d drivers for my GeForce DDR, played with my refresh settings, and even tried a whole new monitor. No spoon. These little lines even occur during the Windows 98 loading screen. If I cant fix this by tomorrow afternoon, I'm taking the computer to get fixed.

I would appreciate any help, thanks

Did you try a different monitor cable with the 2nd monitor? If you didn't I would try that first. If that doesn't do it I would say the video card is going south! I'm not an expert but what else could it be?

Is the system running normally besides the bleeding? Do you overclock it at all?

Also, what sort of monitor(s) are you using?

yep everything else seems normal.. btw its a 21 inch komodo monitor, and the other i tested on was my brothers little 15incher.. not sure what brand his is. but it had the exact same lines across it.. and it used a different monitor cable so its not that.

im thinking my video card is dying ;P i play a LOT of heavy 3d games, and for several hours at a time.. im assuming i just killed the damn thing :p

Might try reseating the graphics card. Shutdown, make sure the card is securely in place, screw it down with a thumbscrew (I'm a thumbscrew evangelist for some reason) and fire 'er up.
