I've got a pretty nice corner desk made by M&M Industries. I don't know if they even have a website; Google didn't turn up anything useful. I think that this is/was their webpage; just says something about their Apache server working.
I've had this desk for 6 or 7 years now. I'm still not quite sure what it's made of - metal frame, hard plastic-looking finish, with plastic-rubber edging. It's well made, and is durable. Only thing I notice, it's sagging toward the middle, maybe by 5 degrees now. The heavy computer and large monitor have taken their toll on it. Maybe I need to retighten the bolts, or else figure out how to add reinforcements to it. The surface of it is still in excellent condition, unlike the cheap desks elsewhere in the house - particle board and paper with an imitation wood print. They're not sagging, but the paper covering is coming off.
If I think of it tomorrow, I'll try to get a pic or two of my desk - off to bed very shortly.

I had a similar desk by them.... could be same.... Couldn't take the weight over several years... Your going to have to do more than tighten bolts to get it straight or somewhat straight again.

the one in the sample is flimsy iirc thats why I went with the one I bought

mine is holding a 21 inch monitor as well as a 19 and it has supports to strenghten the hutch
I could easily add another 21 inch to the setup and have them eye level and both are crt's

while it may sag in two years @ 200.00 usd I could still buy 4 more to be equal in price

Before I spent a grand on a desk from a store , I'd get one custom built and pick the wood I wanted used

but thats mho

got mine @ staples about a year ago, i had my 17" LCD in the right compartment with the shelf removed for a while along with my 17" CRT in the center position...after a while i decided to go with only the LCD and it's currently set up the way you see here
(the mess was not included with purchase, but for a small fee I could come set it up for you :D)

I just bought a new desk from Costco. It is considered commercial quality much like modular units at staples or officemax. The desk is "U" shape with a hutch on one side. It look sort of like this one: http://www.bestar.ca/Catalogue/images/models/87606162/87606162_img_bg_8.jpg

Although the hutch is slightly different and the sitting position is in the corner. This desk rocks and my only negative is putting together the 50 or so pieces. It was $399 at Costco and the same thing at other places would have run me >$800 including the hutch.

I will try to snap some pics tomorrow.

no one else went custom? I built my own after getting disgusted with the outrageous pricing and cheesy construction of the staples/od crud. Ran about $200 in materials and hardware (and that's with the $30/pair full extension drawer slides). Took a crapload of time to build - this was the first major furniture piece I've built, also my first attempt at steam-bent trim. Spent alot of time trying something, scraping it, and starting over. Holds my 22" + 17" Crts (over 100 lbs total) + my full weight without much trouble. will snap some pics tomorrow.

I have my college room desk :(
the morons who designed this were pretty short sighted...I honestly have to slant my 21" monitor to get it to fit at all. If I put my monitor straight on the desk, all the way up to the wall, there would be about 1 inch in front of it for the keyboard. Go figure.

It would REALLY suck if I had dual monitors. Ah well.
