Hey just wondering if anyoune can assist me in this little problem. When I play NFSU2 the computer shuts down and reboots. It does this when I enter a race and just before the race starts the computer goes to blue screen shuts down and reboots. Or it happens when I finish a race. I can drive around in explorer mode all day long with out a crash (well I crash cars) of the computer type.

The error code is:

BCCode:1000007f BCP1:0000000D BCP2:0000000 BCP3:0000000 BCP4:0000000 OSVer:5_1_2600 SP:2_0 Product:256_1

It comes back as a display driver problem which Nvidia has no solution for it.

My rig is

Celeron 1.4ghz 256L2 cache 100mhz FSB
768mb RAM
Mach Speed 694TAS Mobo
40gb WD caviar HDD
nec FDD
CD-RW optical Drive
Leadtek 5700le 256mb AGP card
SoundBlaster Digital audio card
Windows XP Pro

Any insight will be much appreciated. P.S. I know there are faster processors and better everything all the way around. I just want to get this so it doesn't crash.

Thanks

Hi,
If you go into Control panel, Administrative tools, event viewer -
go into all the logs -
look for red X or yellow !.
Tell us the most common:
SOURCE, Error, EVENT ID and any text that goes with it

I am not on that computer at present, using a friends away from home. I won't be able to check that out until tomorrow. Here is the last part of the event ID I believe

WERdd8c.dir00\Mini042605-01.dmp
WERdd8c.dir00\sysdata.xml

I only wrote down the last because the first just seemed it was where it stored this information.

nono -
need the whole info from the event viewer, not from the dump screen

Could try this:
Go to System Properties
Go to Advanced Tab
Press the Error Reporting Button (Bottom Right of screen)
options exist there to disable error reporting to MS
