Computer crash issue - need help

I recently custom built my computer and am suffering crashes in FPS games. I can have the computer on for hours on end using basic programs like Word, WM10, Winamp, and IE with no problem. This problem only occurs in graphics-demanding games. After playing the game for anywhere from 2-10 minutes, a high-pitched whine sounds, the screen locks, goes blue (whine still sounding), then the computer restarts on its own. About half the time, windows says I have recovered from a serious error. I have tried two different sets of 1GB (2x512MB) of RAM but the problem persists so I think I have ruled the RAM out. This has occurred so far in three games (granted they are demos - FEAR, BOS, and Starship Troopers). My next guess would be a graphics card failure. Any thoughts or advice of where to go from here? Thanks.

SB Audigy 2
WD 250GB HD
Windows XP Pro
FSP Group 500W PSU

Could you list out your system specs including your power supply (make/model). Your "My Rig" link doesn't work anymore.

If I had to guess right now it would be a weak power supply.

Are your graphics drivers up to date & have you changed any settings on the graphics card lately?

I've had your problem before, and everytime it was either drivers or I had changed some video card settings.

Also sounds like the low/noo power to gfx card whine to me.

If that card takes an extra power connector, make sure nothing else is daisy-chained to it.

The PSU I have has a dedicated PCIE power connecter which I have connected to the card.

At load, how high is the temp of the card supposed to get?
