the yellow is caused by dirt/grime/sweat/pollutents right?

Apparently, it is caused by some type of oxidation or other chemical reaction. The removal process involves peroxide, laundry booster, and UV light.

amiga 500

My wife threw away about 400 floppies I had for the Amiga... 🙁

I am afraid to touch my Atari 800 to do this... it may die on me and I enjoy playing it.

I wouldn't do this unless I could ebay it.... something like an IBM M-clicky keyboard

I can think of nothing more useless than old computers.

They run old software just as well as they used to, and many tasks performed today can be performed on them. Just not quite as user friendly.

Sweet. My oldest computer is still as gray as the day I got it though, it's only a Pentium MMX, definitely not old enough to yellow.

I've noticed that plastic around smokers is always much more yellow and brittle than with non-smokers.
