computer clicks upon powering down

So I've had my Sony for about 2 years now and I've never really paid attention to the "click" that happens when it powers down but I'm asking just to be sure. I'm not too sure if its normal or when it started but is it because my harddrive is about to fail? This "click" only happens when I'm shutting down and it is quite audible. The "click" also has a very metallic ring to it...

it's probably the drive shutting down, that happens with a lot of PC's I've noticed.. including mine @ home... but never ever clicks again, only at shutdown.
