Best computer chair for under $500 ? Will be used for 4 to 9 hours a day. Want the back of the chair to beable to lift up or down so if I sit up my back will still have support.

Agreed. Everyone doesn't sit in crappy $50 chairs and eat ramen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Different people have different priorities.

While there's no reason to spend more than you have to, there are lots of reasons not to skimp on a chair you spend a lot of time in.
