Best computer chair for under $500 ? Will be used for 4 to 9 hours a day. Want the back of the chair to beable to lift up or down so if I sit up my back will still have support.

with chairs, go sit in them. that is the best way

and its worth spending 100+ on a chair since it is a pretty important element to the whole pc thing.

Agreed. Everyone doesn't sit in crappy $50 chairs and eat ramen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Different people have different priorities.

Christ, just find a chair you feel comfortable in. If it's $500, ask to see their $100 chairs and see if you like any of those.

While there's no reason to spend more than you have to, there are lots of reasons not to skimp on a chair you spend a lot of time in.

Get something with a mesh seat and\or back. My pleather chair makes my back and butt sweat while the rest of me is freezing (even in the winter).

exactly, you can get something good for a reasonable amount of money. i found a very comfy chair for just over 100 bucks at costco. i mean if you have more money spend it if you find what you are lookin for, but just dont skimp on a chair you will be trusting your body to for 4-9 hours a day.

my chair isnt the best looking one, and when i have more money ill spend what i need to get the best of both worlds.

it needs to be ergonomic, it is after all, for your posture and comfort. it also needs to be durable, with so much heavy usage, chairs need to be tough as well.

Does any company sell chairs that let you pull up your support for your body further upward instead of further away ? I like to sit up and not back when on my pc. Its a habit that I never lean back.
