Computer can't accept packets?

I think I have narrowed my problem down, my wireless usb adapter will connect to an access point for about a minute then drop the signal, doing further investigation I noticed that it worked fine transmitting packets, but when it receives the first one it drops the connection, is there something in windows or something that could be causing this? Thanks for your help.

It may be a problem with your chipset drivers. VIA had some issues with thier USB working under some/many/all WIndows platforms.

IF youre using a VIA-based chipset, try going to viahardware.com and downloading/installing the newest 4in-1 drivers. DO NOT try to install the drivers if you're not using a VIA chipset.

Good Lcuk
