there are definitely better monitor options (you could get a 24inch widescreen for the same price as that nec) and with the 3870 at $220 and the 8800gt at $300 the 2900xt is a complete waste of money. Also a corsair 520 might be a better option then that antec in terms of psu's. List you budget and what you want to do with it and you will get more responses (also list each part, instead of having links, a lot of people wont bother to click the links).

The following list took me hardly any time to put together. :p
Please provide a listing of parts rather than simply linking to another site.
That way we can view your total selection on one page instead of being redirected 10 different times.

But isn't the first graphics card better, its 1G and the other ones you recommend are only 512.

No, the 1G vs. 512mb is not the bottleneck. What you want in a GPU is more FPS, not larger stats. The best way to find this is by reading reviews. See how well they perform against each other in the same setup. The ones JKRESH suggested are newer technology, cheaper, and will give you more FPS. PErsonally I would go for ATI's cards because they are cheaper, and they are ATI, but that is just me. The 8800GT is better than the 3800 series, and so if you want more power go with that. If you want cheaper go for the Radeon 3870, and if you want the next best go for the Radeon 3850.

Wow that was extremely helpful, thank you very much!

Would anyone have a motherboard recommendation for me?
