Wrong forum.

But... less expensive motherboard, better GPU, Q6600, ditch the crap sound card.

I'd pick up a 4850 or 4870, grab an Antec 900 case (love them), ditch the sound card as mentioned before. You may want to look for a 320GB single platter drive.

For the hard drive, I'd go for the Western Digital WD6400AAKS for $80-90 now. Sure, you're spending about $40 more, but you're getting almost 3 times the storage and every 6400AAKS is guaranteed to be a dual 320GB platter drive (the WD3200AAKS is EITHER a single 320GB platter OR 2 160GB platters).

Having the extremely high density of 320GB platters makes the WD6400AAKS a very fast drive...it's right up there with a 10,000 RPM Raptor in terms of read speeds. Definitely a worthwhile investment IMO.

You're also paying too much for the case...I'd go for either the Antec 900 (like others have said) or the CM 690 here:

I used the 690 in a workstation build for my dad and it's one of the best cases available in terms of air cooling. Tons of places for fans and very good ventilation throughout.
