I love eBooks... have always hated "real" books. Paper and I do not get along. At all. Burn it. All of it.

If you're buying an O'Reilly book, they routinely have sales. Plus, if you buy a physical book, you can get the eBook much cheaper (though not free, generally). I bought a TON of eBooks on Cyber Monday, when they were 50% off. (I am not affiliated with O'Reilly... just like their books.)

O'Reilly is a freedom friendly publisher. They defer to the individual author, and if the author chooses to give away electronic copies of their work, it isn't a problem. That's a nice distinction from the greed based practices of most.
