Computer and Monitor Carrying Straps! Great for LAN parties!

I saw this stuff at GearGrip. For those of you who take your computer a lot of places, you might be interested in this stuff. I don't know of any coupons or lower prices, but this seems like a hot deal for those who need this.

It's a cool idea, but that's still pretty expensive. $35 for a strap to put around your computer seems like quite a bit...
 
Hey, it would save me a second trip to the car. This way I could have my 21" monitor in one hand and my tower case in the other!... if I knew of any LAN parties.
 
Lol, they should call you divide by one cause that actually made sense! Anywho....if you go to 70 lan parties in one year (sound like alot and it is), then that means that you will save approx. 70 trips to your car. That comes out to $0.50 per trip saved (not counting the shipping + tax on the strap of course 😉 ) and each lan party lasts roughly a whole day (8 hours or so), give or take a week. This comes out to a grand total of... [/me punches numbers in calculator aimlessly] about $0.06 cents per hour. I'm not sure about you guys, but this puts even minumum wage to shame 😀.
 
monitor and case in one trip?

haha have fun. even if you have the muscle to carry both at once, you're gonna be lobsided which makes it oh so much more fun. 🙂

i've tried a full tower and a 19" monitor at once, a couple flight of stairs and a bunch of doors, lets just say i won't be attempting that one again. 😛
 
ooo, they have shoulder straps... hmmm... that might change things...

/me considers selling his pctote and buying these geargrips instead. hehe
 
Yeha so you hang the Monitor off one side, the PC off the other side, and you hope you have enough time to get to the car before the straps cut off the arteries in your neck and you pass out...
 
I won one of the PC GearGrip straps at a LAN a few months ago......Very sweet! These are great for toting around your box since you just throw it over your shoulder! The kewl part is the side pockets which hold your keyboard, mouse, mousepad, spare batteries, sandwich, whatever......

Highly recommended!😀
