12-30-2000 to 03-31-2001 rebate form

Print it to about 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" each side if possible. Both sides of the form are scanned. Made a test print myself and it came out fine, scale it to about 155%.

To be mailed to the following: - manly, ramjet73, Chief Wahoo, Bucky69, carmann, shishya, Nightmare, goog40 and 4 unidentified members.

I appreciate the scanned form, but it is huge and won't print on a single page. Could I ask you to rescan it in a smaller size? Thanks 😀
 
Mine says shipped but it says it was shipped already and recieved by someone. Does anyone else have messed up tracking info? I didnt get it yet so its messed up.
 
The link for the picture of the rebate form is not working for me. Can anyone else send me a copy of it or point me to another link?

Better make sure its not at a neighbors house..maybe they accepted delivery when you were not home.. Happened to me before!!

I don't know man...sounds like a scam to me. I would just send in both forms anyway to be safe. Otherwise they are guaranteed to go back on that as a technicality.

BTW - I just called them and asked why i was still backordered when their store lists it as being in stock. They said that they were &quot;preparing my shipment as we speak,&quot; and agreed to upgrade me to fed-ex for free. I didn't even complain or anything! I suppose I have to eat my words now about us never getting the drives.
 
Damn, I called to ask about my order status, and all the guy could tell me was &quot;They are shipping some out every week or so&quot; ... couldn't tell me anything specific about my particular order, or upgrade my shipping for me! ... I really only called because I needed to switch my credit card payment, because my card is going to expire before they mail the damn thing to me... The CSR couldn't even do that, he said someone else would &quot;call me back today or tomorrow sometime&quot; ... I really hope they call me back soon!

 
just to let you know, when you send in rebates to most companies, they will almost always accept the packing slip that you got from an order you made thru online stores. And a lot of the times they will not take the printed receipt from online. So its not uncommon for companies to ask you for packing slips rather than have you send a printed copy of the online receipt.
 
Ok, not a big surprise, the cdrw didn't show up today as I was promised by a CSR, order still shows it's backordered.
 
I just received mine so I guess there is hope for all you people still waiting. My brother is one of them. Weird since he ordered before me. But any ways. Has anybody been able to rename there cd ID string to a Plextor with the last batch of drives. My TLA # is 0303 which is a lot higher than most. Just wanted to warn you guys that this last batch might not be quite as cool as the earlier ones. For those of you that want a &quot;Plextor&quot; drive. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but, I've tried it out on a couple of computers.
 
I got mine to work but it was from the batch that they were in the store. I had to pop into a 98 machine since you couldn't it on a 2000 one.
 
Thanks I just got mine to work. But now I acidently changed the ID String on my Plex 32x. Oh well. Wow this has got to be one of the best deals since those Imation burners.

 
My worries are pretty much over now. My tracking info finally changed to Plymouth, &amp; should arrive on 2/02/01, thank God. Before it said it was shipped to some other city. I should get it on Friday. I cant wait!! 😛 😀 🙂
 
My order status tells me its still backordered, but the fedx guy just delivered it, So do not cancel your orders.It's only a matter of time
 
Tracking info now seems to be working on the web site. Looks like mine is not going to be delivered till the end of the week. 🙁
