CompUSA "print this ad" sale is back!

30% off Microsoft software (not games) -- does this mean I can get the XP Home upgrade for $70 (30% off $99.99) ? That seems like a pretty good deal, right?

There's a nice little disclaimer up top that says "On select products". Not sure if all the exlusions are listed on the coupons.

40% on Memorex DVD media... hmmm... I wonder who makes it.

Time to find out! I love DVD+/-R deals... no rebates rocks.

That 160GB 7200RPM w/8MB cache looks like a good deal at $99. Could be good for a pricematch too, CC, Staples, BBY?

in my last few memorex spindles:
+r -- ricoh japan , burns 4x on sony dru500AX , burns 4x on NEC
-r -- CMC magnetics taiwan , burns 2x on my sony dru500ax, burns 4x on NEC
no problems with both media over a 100 dics burnt not a single coaster

that's not a new promotion, be on for a while... its a POS apex anyways. (cell contracts are worth it for them)

Here's what I did, I PM'ed to Office Depot (by phone) applied a $10 off $50 coupon code and got the 50 pack of 4X DVD-R's for $49.83 + Tax!! Instore pickup!

It's not that bad of a TV, considering its normal retail is around $100. I got it last year @ CompUSA w/ free Spiderman DVD. It also has an S-Video input, so you can make use of that s-video out on your vid card.

Thanks for confirming this, prompted me to take a lunch-time trip, picked up Windows XP Home upgrade for $70 and the Maxtor 160GB HD. The cashier was very nice about it all, no questions asked on XP, and she actually started to ring up the HD as the 30GB HD listed elsewhere in that ad for $30. I stopped her, just couldn't do it. Silly me.
