CompUSA opens at midnight tonight right ?

With all the seasonal employee's and just plain incompetant people I was one of the few people they could depend on to get neccessary things done for black friday.


Thing that sucks, Im a part time associate to begin with. But I was scheduled to work at 9:30-10:30 shift (sucks). Anyways, that happens sometimes. But at 10 when we closed we had all the managers in the store cleaning stuff up, but there were still some things that needed to be done in my department. So they asked me to help out with some stuff (well really told, but whatever). I didn't think I'd be there till past midnight but everyone else left and the job wasn't going to get done if me and this other guy didn't do it.


They ended up clocking us out at 12 midnight cause our computers couldn't handle clocking out on the next day apparently, so I had to finish what I was doing (couldn't just leave crap laying around ya know?) and didn't actually get done till about 12:20, at which point it was me... one other part time associate, and the three managers of the store.



The real kicker, I didn't get a single thanks from anyone. In fact early in the night the store director gave me a bit of a hard time about some crap.


Ahh, the joys of working retail.

Screw that, leave 20 minutes early the next time you work and have someone clock you out on time.
 
I just got back. Got a 160gb external HD for $50.

Goddamn registers were so disorganized and the credit card system was down. Over 200 people still waiting in line at 2:15AM.

Went to the madness sale at San Bruno, CA. Got there at 12. Madness insued inside. A clerk said there were 700 people waiting in front of the store! I got a Saitek PC gaming keyboard and 2 x 100 DVD-R sets. I got in line at 12:30, didn't leave until 1:45pm. The most DISORGANIZED STORE ever! People were cutting in lines, bumping and pushing into people. I guess they CompUSSR nickname holds true to itself.
