COMPUSA NIC Card

Anyone with this card, or know who makes the chipset and/or drivers for this card know if it's by National Semiconductor, like the Linksys and Netgear cards? I have serious problem with NSC sets with my motherboard and Win2k.

why dont you go into your local compusa and check out the box? its bound to be listed in fine print SOMEWHERE. If not, you might check national semiconductors website, if they have one, or fire off an email to compusa about it. CompUSA brand stuff is USUALLY rebadged from better brands. Their hard drives for sure are maxtor, though thats not any indication of the quality of the rest of their stuff.

I had already done that, dude. It's NO WHERE to be found on the box.

What does the chipset say?
Read the files on the floppy or cdrom driver disk.

I haven't bought the card yet, I don't want to buy it if it's not going to work anyway

I have a spare 10/100 PCI card with a Realtek chipset if you are interested.
