It seems that the HVE model is only 15:9 ratio. The HVX is a true 16:9 widescreen ration panel. Also the HVX has a lower response time.

Someone needs to get some pics while playing COD2 on one of these or something. I can't believe I'm thinking of picking one of these up...

Here's two pictures of World of Warcraft running on my secondary computer. It's through a standard VGA cable because I'm too lazy to pull my DVI cable from my main computer and will be getting another DVI tomorrow morning.

I've got to say it looks quite amazing. I was playing Halo 2 on it earlier and that looked great also.

I just came from CompUSA with the HVX unit that they were substituting since they didn't have the HVE.
I will have 2 rebates to send in though. Each is for $100.
After rebate cost will be $499 from the Nashua NH store.

Haven't tried it yet, but just about to.
Deal is good until Saturday the 14th.

I don't know for sure, but I think they are subbing because they never had the HVE in stock
at all and NH frowns on that.

My store was out but the guy added that they had about a dozen in the back that had been returned. What ever that's worth.
