CompUsa deals...

instead of linking to a pdf, can you please just copy paste into the body of your post. I for one will never open links of this nature, I know its not an exe but and the risk is minimal....guess im just paranoid.....

The same PDF was linked over at FW.

Really hot deal: Antec 500W Earthwatt, $39.99 after IS and AR. I could really use one to replace a crappy SmartPower 2.0.

Amusing: a $449.99 Aspire Notebook with 512GB RAM.

I disagree on the Antec Earthwatt, it's $80 + $5 shipping + $5 tax = $90 - $40 = $50. It has two rails rated at 17 amps. Recently you could pick up a Enermax 460 watter with 22 amps on two rails for $60.50 - $15 MIR = $45.50...much better PSU.

Actually that amusing notebook is not bad.
80GB drive/DVD burner/3-hr battery/card reader/wireless/dual-core/s-video/15.4" all for $449.99 AR.

Antec seems to have learned their lesson with previous models and the reputation that came with them. The Antec Earthwatt, neoHE, and Truepower Trio are OEMed from the same shop that builds Seasonic. Rock solid PSUs with 80%+ efficiency.

are you sure they built from the same shop? I'd get one of they were!!! cause i love my seasonic psu, i left my computer on for close to 5 days, not a single problem.

Wow!! Five whole days?!?! 😉

I think the only times mine are turned off is power outages and hardware installs.

Agree.....Heck even my parents leave theirs own 24/7 🙂

Same here 24/7 on the frys $70 MB/cpu combo deal running on a powersupply with no name I can find. Running as a PVR. Ran for 2 years now it crashes every 2 days. The prob is in windows somewhere but I hate to do a rebuild. Too bad windows is incapable of telling you what is wrong with it so often.
