There is no way to tell unless someone can tell what protocol it is based on (802.11b or g) ... and also what chip set it uses.

If it is 802.11g, it is awesome in all access points. The type of chipset is hard to tell, but it matters a lot when it comes to signal strength

I was contemplating the $10 "web safe" router, as I wanted a cheap router now.

All the deals seem to be in wireless now, and I didn't feel like waiting for a cheap firewall (SPI) router to go on sale, but I talked myself into purchasing this one.

If anyone doesn't need it *today* like I did, this router can be had for $46.84 after $20 rebate at amazon.

I bought one of these things last night (last day of the sale).

I've got to say for $12.48 (including tax) after rebate this thing is AWESOME!~!!!

I've already got integrated wi~fi on my IBM T41 but wanted to see the range & ease of use with this thing on my laptop.

I was amazed! It more than doubled my range (which wasn't too bad to begin with )

Was exteremely easy to implement & use. I'd give it a 4 1/2 outta 5
