 Thanks for the heads~up.

Though the last one they had proved uneventful. Hopefully this one will be better. :)

Ha! I bet this gonna be just as terrible as their end of year sale...
For those of you who didn't see that one or forgot it, it was all their ancient crap that they wanted to clear out of inventory and the prices weren't even any good. To add more to the insult, they added items slowly over time ...

Don't fall for the same BS again...

Ameesh, did you even particpate in checking out CompUSA's last Blowout sale??? I was complete utter crap. It's no surprise everyone think this deal is cold. Jokersmoker gets us plenty of deals and we appreciate that. We just don't particularly care about this one.

CompUSA's definition of a blowout sale is to not charge list price for a item, they charge ya retail instead.

That $699.99 list price camera is now a blowout price of just $599.99 :)

*sigh.... I work at compusa, but I can tell you, that end of year "blowout" sale sucked. Bad. They just put up their extra inventory at normal prices. No deals at all. You'd be much better off just going with their Sunday ads.

I hope this one is better, but I have serious doubts.

ValSalva, I love it when you insult companies without providing any proof in your post. I'm sure you'll go off on me now, ripping CUSA for whatever it is, providing "evidence," blahblahblah.... but please don't go off unless you show us why.

Jokersmoker, keep the good deals coming!

Does anyone remember what the final ad link name was for last time (or perhaps printed or saved the page where the link might be)? I suspect the html has already been done for the ad, and it is just sitting there in the http://www.compusa.com/sales/postann2k2/ directory. The default.asp will probably serve as a link point with the new page just being hidden by not yet being linked to (even the asp code could just be checking the time and not serving the link up yet). I tried a few other *.asp names just as a shot.

blowout.asp
celebration.asp
celebration_specials.asp
ad_menu.asp

etc...

Just a thought :D

it saids "CONTINUE THE CELEBRATION"...does that mean it's a continuation of the last sucky celebration sale they had? One can only hope not....anyways, it's good to know about it....keeping my fingers crossed.

Compusa is up the block from me, so i visit it 3 times a week...hehehe
