7200 maxtors and wdigitals at office depot have 7200 on all sides of the boxes in small letters. guess it's a 5400?

Pete777 already did a great FREE service to us by spending his time typing some deals he filtered. We cannot thank Pete777 enough here. We souldn't demand him to scan and post it.

Also, FYI, scan a flyer and post it on teh web could be illegal as it violate teh merchant's copyright, and Pete777 could be sue, pay huge amount to compensate teh merchants' loss for leaking such information early, and go to jail.

I think Pete777 is great, but we shouldn't ask him for more and take things for granted.

As to the Maxtor 60gig with the free ultra 100 pci card, the site shows that they have two types of Maxtor 60 gigs. The 5400 RPM is UDMA 66 and the 7200 RPM is UDMA 100. So that'd be a great deal for a 7200 RPM drive. However the price difference is $269 vs $299. So do you think they would give the 66 drive with the controller or the more logical 100 drive?

Best buy people are pretty stupid..i took back a pair of speakers there because they didnt work..and they couldnt get a barcode read..so the dumb CS person scanned a $500 digital camera and gave me the $500 credit..for a $100 pair of speakers..and you say they arent that stupid..

Anyone know what AGP bus speed the Rage Fury Maxx 64 mb will support.

I have a BX6 2.0 and it doesn't have the 1/2 AGP multiplier so I need a good card that supports 89MHZ (PIII700 @ 933).

There were two SBLIVE Platinum (non 5.1) marked at 99 bucks at my local CompUSA. (yesterday) Some were listed at $150. Not sure if they are just trying to get rid of the old ones.
