Decent price on the 60GB 7200 if it's a 3-year warranty. Sometimes the CompUSA boxed Maxtors have 1-year warranties. The Maxtor 60GB 7200's are $103 and $110 shipped for standard and fluid ball bearing versions respectively. Just a heads up.

PCTV Pro again?? I already got one of these, it was a bitch to make it work. But for $30, the remote is probably almost worth that much.

If you guys are having trouble finding the rebates, just go to cusarebates to find them. You can download them, print them out, and send them in. This is what we do when we run out of them at my store.

The problem with the cusarebates rebate forms is that when they are actually available for the rebate item that you purchased from Compusa, they are often contain incorrect or misleading information. If your local ComUSA does not have the rebate form(s) when you are ready to purchase an advertised rebate item, demand an instant rebate. If they say for you to printout the rebate form their website tell them that CompUSA.com is not the same company as CompUSA B&M and by law they are required to have the rebate forms available at the place of purchase. BTW the .com not being a seperate company as the B&M is the same excuse that CompUSA managers often give their customers when they refuse to honor prices on CompUSA.com.

Regarding the PCI tv card....

The Studio video editing software and TitleDeko title creation software included with Studio PCTV do not support Windows NT or Windows 2000

Sucks if you have XP ???

5 Imation 10-pks w/cases $2.45 after rebates.

If you need any more cd-rs they have Imation 10pks with jewel cases 5 pks for $2.45 after savings and rebates. 288451. Five rebate forms needed for this but they all get mailed together with one receipt. $34.95 (5 @ $6.99ea) less $2.50 instant savings ($.50 ea) less $30 mfr MIR ($6 rebate X 5).

Looks like 24X in the ad, but not sure and the site is down for restocking.

The tv tuner card would be VERY good, but Pinnacle has failed to release the promised WDM drivers first quater 2002. So you cant use third party software. But it is a good price for watching tv w/ DScaler (NOT PCTV Vision)and the remote.

I am typing this post on my new Logitech Freedom keyboard. I love this thing! Super feel and very quiet. Much better than the Logitech Freedom it replaced after 1 year. It cost the same, $80us. I bought the package for the optical mouse, but the keyboard is wonderful. I wish they had made the mouse body out of an opaque material, I taped up the body of the mouse so I don't see the light (I am thinking of disassembling and painting the inside). It's not a hot deal, but to me it's a good deal!:)

The rebate for the Pinnacle PCTV Pro at Compusa B&M and online shows $50 and not $20. This makes the card practically free after rebate. This is HOT HOT HOT!!! I picked up two. These rebates better be valid.

Get the PCTV Pro and the 60GB drive and you'd have a pretty nice PVR.

I noticed on the website that they have a 50 pack of 80 minute 16x Imation CDRs for $8.99. The picture shows 74 minute, but the description is for 80 minute.
