The rest:

If I'm reading it right, according to the fine print some of the free, $25, and $50 items require purchase of a desktop $699 and up. :disgust:

The way I read it, all of the $25 and $50 items require computer purchase as well as 4 FAR items, but none of them are ones I have posted.
The ones tied to a computer purchase include an Epson printer/scanner/copier, Backup Now! software, Norton Sysworks & Antispam, netgear wireless g router - all FAR w/desktop or notebook $699 & up. Also choice of one of several other items for $25 or $50 w/that same computer purchase. More stuff than I want to post, but anyone else please feel free!

yes you are a freaking loon to consider 3 rebates! 🙂 you can get a comperable one for $200 no tax instead of $150 plus $300 worth of tax.
 
Anyone know anything about the DVD-R's? $15 for 100 seems like a good deal, but I don't know if they're decent media

Yeah, I too had a blow up at CompUSA with a manager at their Henderson, NV store. The hassle free return policy was far from that. Let's just say my cranium pressure was running about 100psi and Mr. manager knew I was about to have a come-apart....end result being I walked out of there with all my money back. I only go to CUSA when there's a hot deal. Online shopping serves my needs pretty well.........
