I've kinda gotten behind in the last 6 months, is this still a pretty decent drive overall, has some new SSD come out that is even faster?

Also would this be good for just an additional drive, not in raid, to put games on?

For those who don't want to click, Vertex 3 120GB with $20 rebate.

There are drives which benchmark faster, but you can't tell a difference while using it. This drive uses the Sandforce 2281 controller with synchronous NAND. The Vertex 3 Max IOPS uses faster Toggle NAND. By "faster" I mean benchmarks may give you a higher number so that you can feel good about paying more.

Good question. Probably reputation although I've got two of these drives that have worked well for the last year.

Because OCZ is dumping all their old stock on the market so they can prop up market share against better, more reliable newer drives from everyone else.
