EDIT: Updated, TD deal is dead but lesser CompUSA deal is still up.

Just did a search for CompUSA at Bing and it came up as one of the ads.

FYI Tiger Direct, CompUSA and Circuit City web sites are all Tiger Direct.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Tiger Direct 15% Bing cashback (2/26/10)

Just did a search for Motherboards at Bing and it came up as one of the ads.

Tried to buy a monitor I've been wanting. Not only did they charge me tax (FL) but a nice shipping charge. What ever happened to "free" shipping on orders 25 lbs or less?

Both charges basically wiped out the BCB.

Most online sellers regularly make up margin in "shipping and handling" charges.

They sell the 25.5" I-Inc monitor for ~$200 with free shipping, but if you buy the 28" version (well under 25lbs) you pay like $38 in shipping.

Way to build a customer base right?

IIRC Tiger Direct is HQ'd in FL so yes you will have to pay sales tax.

They list a 30 pound shipping weight (including cables, packaging, etc) for the 28" monitor so it doesn't fall within their free shipping promotion.

Nope, I just tried it, going to Bing Shopping and searching for Motherboards. First ad on top was for Tiger Direct with 15% cashback. If you click through, goes straight to the motherboards page.

How big a monitor are we talking here? The shipping weight for a 22 to 24 inch LCD can easily be 6 lbs or more than the actual weight of the monitor alone.

The manufacturer lists a net weight of 16.3 lbs and a gross weight of 22.7lbs. Is TD putting the monitors in another box? I've only ordered monitors from Dell Business and Enterprise sales and they usually only have one box. Since Dell doesn't sell retail, I assume that the packing is designed to be ready for transport and doesn't need fancy printing that retail sales may need.

its possible. i know amazon double boxes their monitors.

thanks OP for this post. I managed to buy a 8gb micro SD card, a radeon 4350 and an am2 motherboard (some pcchips ecs geforce 6150 one)
for $103 with this.

so $103 for free shipping , 15% off and $42 in mail in rebates and 1% back from my credit card! hahah. i was really bored at work, cant beat $45 for a bunch of actually useful stuff.

It's showing 8.3% for me now. Shoulda have used it while it was still hot..

that 28" is really light- really light - its so flimsy too - you will hate this monitor. get a small TV instead. take the reject hans-spree panel -> that's I-INC.

no remote

good thing is it comes with YUV component to vga cable (you can run xbox1/wii into it). bad news it has no de-interlacer so 1080i looks well interlaced!

Circuit City (same as CompUSA and TD) is up to 15% now. Search for Tom Tom from Bing.com and click on 15% link on the right side.

I know TD bought out compusa, but that 15% only works on the compusa site right? I kinda want that 4890 but the CB is a bit lower on the TD site 🙁

Tom Tom didn't do it for me (didn't even see circuit city on the right), but "camera" worked. I still want to get that radeon from TD though, they are the only ones that give you an extra rebate on it

Are we absolutely certain XFX is only offering one year of warranty coverage on these? No info on re-certified video cards on their site.

Hmm, finally found the link for 15% off circuit city, apparently Firefox with ad block plus hides them. Circuit City has the refurb XFX 4890 with 25.50 off thanks to Bing. However, the $20 MIR from ebillme doesn't apply. Too bad neither site has the board I want 🙁 Newegg does with only 2%
