Do you know if CompUSA will be lowering their prices on the iMac DV-SE (Graphite) before 01/24/01? I purchased one Christmas Eve and wouldn't mind getting a price adjustment. :)

Hi, I was wondering if their is an ad for the Teac 8x8x32 cdrw drive? Like for $99.99? Also need to know if it is a two day special or a full-week deal (if there is an ad for it)? Thanks, you might save me $50 bucks :)

the ad I posted for is the week of 1/21, but when preparing this week's ad (1/14) starting tomorrow, i noticed that the teac drive will be $99

as far as the imac dv, i have not seen anything, but there was just a price drop on the cube recently and there could be one on the imac as well, my suggestion is call in two days before your price adjustment time is up and see if it had dropped and if so, go in the next day

That would be awesome dude! I hate it when I spend all my computr/car parts money one wek, then something the next week I would rather have goes on sale, or when something I already bought goes on sale. ;-D

The SKU you gave for the 8/4/32 Drive "275722" is for the 12/4/32 Drive on the compusa.com site. are they supposed to be different?

hmmm that is weird, it is the sku for the 12x one, the actual sku for the 8x4x32x is 275720

both sku's are listed under the product on the ad which means that one could be used as a substitute. Maybe they learned from the last sale to add a substitute

Dude, you rock. One thing though. I can find nothing about a rebate on the Router...searched CUSA and linksys sites and nothing.

remember, this is next week, so the rebate may not be valid yet, if it isn't, it wouldn't be up on the site.
Nice thing about the router is that it just took a price drop to $149.99, it used to be $179.99. and next week, in addition to that price drop, there will be $20 instant savings, so even if you don't get the rebate it will be $129.99 earlier this month, i paid $138.00 at cost for the router at work. it is a good deal
just wait till next week and the rebate will be there. it does say manufactuer's mail in rebate on the ad, but sometimes it could be exclusive with compusa, i doubt it though

Thanks for the heads up !...

BTW, you say that HiVal has a DVD....not that I need one, but...I thought they went belly-up ?....or am I wrong ?...or do you know if it's made by someone else ?

Was in CompUSA store today to look around...don't recall seeing too many HiVal stuff, but then I wasn't specifically looking for HiVal stuff anyway...

:D

ok, I looked into that hi-val drive and here it is on compusa's site:
hival drive

you can check if there are any in your store. now on that page, it says that the manufacter is actually I/O magic. another weird thing is on that page it lists the drive at the price of $89.99, not the $109.99 that it says it originally is in the ad. so i am thinking, maybe the manufacters rebate is already in effect and that means $89.99-$20 mail in means $69.99, so I go to the hival website and get no good info, they don't even list this drive on their site. it does say for any rebate information contact one of these:
rebates@hival.com
(714) 953-0675

then i check iomagic.com and saw no active rebates for drives, so I don't know what is up, maybe it is on sale this week and will be $99.99 next week, or it might stay the same price and u get a better deal
who knows
