Compressed air to clean eye

So I woke up yesterday evening from my daily nap, and it seems I got something in my eye during my snooze. I'm not quite sure how since I'm fairly certain I sleep with my eyes closed. Although, I was having an extremely vivid and amazing dream (it's x-rated so I won't go on about it) so I could have been doing anything.

Anywho, I tried flushing my eye with water but to no avail. It still feels like my eye has been given 20 lashes. I'm thinking about acquiring a can of compressed air to spray out whatever the heck is in my eye. Has anyone tried this with positive results?

Sounds like you scratched your cornea. You should go to an eye doctor immediately.

And don't dare try what you're suggesting, just...no.

yeah, that sounds like a bad idea.

It is done, I think--in a controlled situation. Never do it yourself. The pressure will likely be way too high.

wait a tic...I think the OP is suggesting that he managed to splooge in his own eye.

:hmm:

I, on the other hand, stayed at a holiday inn express last night...

Doesn't sound like something is in your eye, it sounds like your eye is irritated like by a scratch or inflammation.

Have you thought about asking an opthalmologist?

😛

If, by chance the compressed air doesn't get relief I would move right on to the next step: use a blow torch.

Hmm, I don't think a blow torch would help, but you did give me an idea.

Maybe I could use a blower set on turtle speed and up it to rabbit speed if turtle is insufficient. I do have access to such a device so no extra cost would be incurred.

meh, I scratched my cornea a while back and it sounds the same - painful and doesn't go away. OP's eye is telling him something, he should listen.
