Compress dvd format files!

ok i have prison break in dvd format because i want to someday put it on dvds lol im a cheap A$$ anyway i have rared them and it only gave me 2 more gbs

anyway how do i compress them into a lower format?

i ahve original .avi files and dvd format .vob files
 
well if you someday wanna put it on dvds then you probably shouldnt compress them into an avi... unless you mean that you wanna make a dvd full of avi files.. either way compressing them into an avi can decrease quality. if youre ok with that then take the link to doom9 and follow a guide to do the conversion. theres also videohelp.com
 
no i need to compress them into smaller files each .avi file is 350mb

i currently have them in their .avi kind
and in .vob dvd files

i think i will just burn them to dvd
