Not sure if this has been posted, didn't find anything within the last 5 pages...

http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page447.htm

It obviously won't cover everything out there, but it gets the major players and then some. Great site if you want to see all your options and find linked reviews on one page instead of googling them... way easier than trawling through Newegg (at least to me).

Yes, it's a pretty useful page. I often refer to it, not just for reviews and OEM's but also PCIe connectors and rail setups

It doesn't in any way replace newegg for browsing because you don't search newegg for reviews, you search it for deals

Why does the OEM of a PSU really matter?
The brand is what's taking responsibility for the quality, and who are speccing out the PSU. The impact the OEM makes is relatively small, unless you know of an OEM that turns down contracts that would require them to do shitty work.
But just because a PSU is made by Seasonic doesn't imply that it's the same PSU as the one labeled as a Seasonic. Components are likely to be different, especially major ones (as they are the big ticket items) and QA will also be different.

some corsair's are made by seasonic and are clones.

IIRC Corsair AX750 = Seasonic X750

It doesn't have to be identical to a Seasonic self-branded unit to be the same Seasonic quality. Seasonic is the one who manufactures and designs the units. So you can pretty much automatically trust a unit by random brand X with Seasonic as the OEM, if 99% of all Seasonic-manufactred units are tested to be high quality in reviews

Knowing the OEM tells you who are the "brand slaves" who do compromise on quality if the brand company demands it (ATNG) and those who don't, like SeaSonic. At worst, a unit on a SeaSonic platform will have worse capacitors than one with the Seasonic brading, like with the Antec NEO ECO units.
