composite?

What in the world is a composite cable?

I just got a 2001fp and in the 4 modes the last one is composit and im not sure what that is. is it cable?

If he doesn't know what a composite cable is, what are the chances of him knowing what an RCA cable is? They are both the standard video/sound input/outputs you've got on any TV made in the last 15 years. Usually yellow is video, and there are two audios colored red and white.

Or simpler, the yellow video cable, along with the red and white audio cables.

Inferior to s-video, which is inferior to component. FYI
