Im getting down to last few pieces to build my gaming rig but im unsure what to start checking out

Havent really paid attention much to AMD but thats how id like to roll on this rig

BEST parts possible, this will be a high-end machine :D

AMD~PCI-e mobo
cpu (+heatsink)
PCI-e vid card
audio card
psu 500W+(something flashy preferably with leds, but sacrificing that for quality n performance is acceptable)
also something for testing psu

other parts are already covered so i dont need help for those

THX! :)

IF you are into OCing...

mobo : DFI lanparty nf4
cpu: amd64 venice 3200+
card: 7800GTx(if you can afford it), 6800GT or x800xl make a great substitute
psu: antec neopower 480 watts or an OCZ powerstream/modstream

Mobo - Id say look at an Asus A8N SLI Deluxe (very stable, ok overclocking wise)
cpu - AMD 64 4000+, or AMD 64 FX-55, or AMD 64 X2 4800
PCI-e vid card - Nvidia 7800GTX, or Nvidia Geforce 6800 Ultra or GT
audio card - Creative Labes Audigy 4
psu 500W+ - OCZ Modstream 520watt (modular PSU, eliminates cable clutter, very good PSU)

Random question....

When you say THX, is that referring to your sound system? What are you hooking this computer up to?

It would be easier to make suggestions if you gave us a more specific budget.

I like the recommendation of the Asus Deluxe but i really would recommend getting the Premium its everything the deluxe should have been.
