Walmart sells a Philips one, it runs $20. I've had it for more than a year and it's great.
It does composite, component, and s-video.
EDIT: This is what it looks like:

I realize that, but read the thread before you flame. There is a link to the monoprice component switch in there.

why didn't you say so earlier? why would i look in a thread about a composite switch when i need a component switch?

Uh, no they're not. They're both analog RCA plugs.

I have the component switch that was linked to above, and I no longer use it. The problem I had with it is that it will ONLY put out the same signal that goes in. So, if you plug in an RCA device and a Component device, and then run component out to your TV, only the component device will work through the switch. This will not change an RCA in to a component out, or vice versa.
But if ALL you have is component connections going in, then it would work just fine.

They are both analog connections, that travel through the same exact wire. A switch for a component connection will work perfectly with a composite one, and vice versa.

so then why are there 2 types of cables and jacks?

So the composite switch can handle component even though composite uses 1 plug and component uses 3? How does the switch magically know to do this?
