a shrine to crabs and/or dug777

You need a singing Sebastian in there. Have it set so that its slightly delayed, so it'd scare the piss/crap out of people.

seems like it has had an awfully lot of thought put into it for a guy's bathroom.

I matched my rug, curtains, and hand towels with the tile and called it a day.

Ok I must ask, what is the history behind the dug777 crab?

My version of the tale:

I went to college with this guy named Doug. We'd always call him Dig-Dug, D-U-G, after that old game. Pissed him off all the time. But he was a great guy. Life of the party and everything. You know the type. Well, Doug was a crab fisherman. He worked up in Alaska, an area in which crabs tend to localize. He described the process which was basically having a net trailing behind his boat catching the crabs. Sure it sounds lame, and I thought so too, until he asked me if I wanted to tag along on his big expedition the weekend after the 4th of July. Not being familiar with Alaska or fishing for crabs, I had no idea what I was in for but I decided "Hell, why not?".

So I meet Doug up in Alaska on Friday and we set out. The first day he was just showing me the ropes of how to catch the crabs and haul them in. He gave me a life preserver and I put it on, asking why he didn't have his on. "Too constricting" he said. I wasn't about to question him as this is his profession. Anyways crab fishing was kind of exciting actually once you do it. We had a blast and played poker that night in his cabin. Saturday rolled around and things looked good. We were hauling in crabs like you wouldn't believe. However, there was a terrible storm that night while we were out on the water. Waves crashing on the ship. Doug was pulling up the net to save the crabs we had picked up. Apparently they sell at really high prices. Anyways as he was pulling the net up, a huge wave crashed over the top of our boat, causing Doug to go overboard. I found rope and tied it to the ship, then grabbing the other end jumped in and tried to save him. I was able to get him back onto the ship, but it was too late. Doug had drowned and was dead. I watched my friend die. That was on July 7th, 2007. Dug777 is my tribute to him.

I ended up in charge of decorating this bathroom since it's only accessible through my Home Theater room. I made a lot of artwork in High School, so some of that is found throughout the place. I decided to make a dense concentration of crab displays in the bathroom though to maximize the strangeness :p
