Damn straight this is hot. Now, I may not have looked at prices lately, but if I recall last time I checked about 5 years ago prices for ram were about 5 bucks a meg, and a pentium 200,well, you'd better have at least 300 bucks for that one...so this deal MUST be hot!

Come to think of it, it WAS nice having chips that didn't require a heatsink and fan that dwarfed the little CPU.

I actually have a 486DX/66 still in service (Win 95.. yay!). I upgraded it from a 486DX/33 cpu years ago, and made the old CPU into a lovely fridge magnet. 'Bout all it was good for.

a few grand...my first computer...was 5000. gateway 2000 upgraded 486dx2/66
upgraded 16meg ram...4 at 4 mb
upgraded 530 meg harddrive and windows 3.0 was installed over dos 2 weeks after i got it

i used to use a program in dos called StereoShell or STS.. it was the most awesome thing to me at the time..

danm i miss my 13inch amber screen... then the 14 inch green screen
