Did you try to move around between phones w/ already activated SIM?

It's not that. T-Mobile kept saying the IMEI was invalid, and couldn't get it activated. They also managed to block the activation code, so I have to get another SIM card shipped from them at MY expense. F that. I spent about an hour back and forth with them. On top of that, the number would need to be ported.

Google is sending me a new phone just in case the IMEI is indeed invalid.

Between arguing with them and my sister, I don't even care if I threw the phone in the garbage at this point.

You have no TMO stores within driving range?

The stores near me are ghetto. They told my sister $60 for a SIM card, and I got into a heated argument at another store.

The kids here don't want to do anything for you unless they can make money.
On the phone I was getting aggravated because they kept saying I was approved for 5 lines and asked me if I was using a hotspot to activate my SIM online.

I am completely flustered with them. In retrospect, I should have told them the IMEI off of my iPhone, but it doesn't matter since the SIM card I paid for overnight shipping is now invalid. I am out $14 and they refuse to send me another one.

There's going to be one HELL of a BBB complaint over that $14.

Sorry, amdhunter. You're leaving out too much details for one to be sympathetic with you.

So all you'd tried to do was to get a brand new phone (N4) and a brand new SIM (from T-Mo)? But that didn't work? That's certainly be an issue, but I have a feeling there is something more to it.
