I am wondering if there is anything produced in paperback that has a bunch of issues of comics in one book. For example, if I wanted to start reading Superman from the beginning, is there a book that has all of the original issues in it? Just wondering.
 
They're called Trade Paperbacks. You can find them at regular bookstores (if they haven't manga'd the whole section), and even more at comic book stores. I get them all the time.

the original issues from the 30s? you want to to check out the archives like these.

newer books are much cheaper and collect a storyline or series together.
