this is just the typical scam of hideing the shipping and tax cost until check out, at almost $400.00 this is not hot.

that's why dude said he was waiting for a free shipping deal 😕
machine still couldn't be home built for less

edit; clicking the link shows out of stock now?
maybe the deal crybabies here bought them all up? yep

Went from out of stock to not even been listed.
My guess is HP just listed it around Black Firday to get people in.
Then they saw that no one want thier crappy intel PC and pulled it.
HP is just like most OEM in that they need to sell certain % (around 90%) of thier stock in intel to get the big chip discount.

Another deal dead. It might pop back up after chistmas but I doubt it.

The CPU is crappy Sempron, but its a 939 chip set so you can put in any chip you want.
BZZZT. No such thing as a socket939 Sempron.

But it's still a decent machine for the price as long as you up the RAM.

BZZT yes there is

939 sempy with no 64bit probably worth like 50 bucks. Not really worth buying at this time.

xbit labs says its 64bit enabled. Not that that really makes much of a performance difference anyway. 64 bitness isn't what makes the a64 so neat, its the ondie memory controller.
