i'm currently running the board & I like it very much because it is the most STABLE board i've ever used. It's also very fast. The only problems I've encountered with the motherboard has been the network interface card = kept giving my school network errors, so I had to use a 3com pci card instead. When I added more components to my system I noticed that IRQ conflicts were causing jaggedy performance, so I got everything on it's own IRQ and it helped a lot. Would I purchase this mobo again if lost/stolen? Yes. I might get the ECS K7S6A just to see what those new boards are like. peace.

the only problem i had was using bad ram. seems like the board doesn't like cheapo ram so i got name-brand ones and now everything works fine.

1) I have built 5 systems including rev 4 boards with 1.4tbird...all worked or are still working today with no problems...

2) IT IS NOT VIA!!! LOL

I've built 2 systems around the K7S5A....it's a great board.

One is running a Duron 850/256MB PC133 w/ 235W PS (Powerman)
The other is a Duron 1GHz/512MB PC133 w/ 250W PS (Aopen)

The 1GHz machine is my file server.. it's been running strong for 3 months now 24/7 on Win2K.
