Greetings all,
I am using a WRT54GL as a router & access point in an almost traditional set-up, with a WRT54GS as a wireless ethernet bridge. I have installed Tomato v1.23 on both routers.
wired connection: <==>
wireless connection: <-->
desktop <===>WRT54GL<==>modem<-->laptop<-->WRT54GS as wireless ethernet bridge<==>MVP & EVA 8000
The devices wired to the second router are two media players, a Happague MVP and a Netgear EVA 8000.
I live in an apartment and pulling cat5 cable really isn't an option. Also, this set-up is performing well so far.
Finally, my questions:
1) Can I add a third router configured as a wireless etherent bridge for a second set of media players in another room?
2) Will the Buffalo router work better as the primary router with WRT54s receiving the streaming signals, or would an all WRT54 system perform better?
