I am new to this forum and am building a new PC after resisiting it for he past year. I am going to go all out this time but it has become a lot more confusing.
Here is my question. I keep seeing 533 MHz memory and DDR2 all over Anandtech but its hard to find a Motherboard that supports these. Is there an easy way out there to find out which motherboards support what?
Here is what I am looking to do:
either a 3.2 GHz or 3.4 GHz Pentium 4 ( is there really much of a difference besides the prices?)
The motherboard is still a big question mark
2 Gigs of some fast RAM, I am not sure which RAM yet Any recomendations?
2 x 250GB SATA drive
RADEON 9800 SE 128MB Video Card
Creative Labs - - Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS
Plextor 8x DVD +/- RW CD RW
so I need a motherboard that can do all those well with a 100/1000 LAN card built in.
Any suggestion where I can do the research?
