To the OP, have you considered a G4 processor upgrade? If you use a 7455 or 7447 CPU, you shouldn't need to install any any special software since Tiger has built in support for those CPUs. In addition, you'd just run whatever software you already have, just faster.

A note on G4 CPUs: A 1.2GHz 7455 is about as fast as a 1.6GHz 7447, the 7455 has 2MB of L3 cache, whereas the 7447 has none. The 7455 runs much hotter though.

The $199 one is probably the best one to get if you still want to hang onto that G4 tower.

No, Intel is a con for those of you on CS2, Leopard is actually a plus with CS2 since they improved Rosetta in Leopard.

Although those dual G4 processors seem good, you are still stuck with slower RAM/bus (100 MHz), hard drive transfer rate, and small VRAM of the stock video card.
