comparing two 6800XTs

I'm comparing some 6800XTs for a friend and hes wondering if the extra memory on the 512 model here is worth the extra money vs the othewise identical model.

no way on the 512mb unless it's the same price. There is no way that 6800xt can utilize that much memory anyway, even if you unlock the pipes and whatnot. Going with 256mb might also let you OC further.

512MB = Waste of money

stick with the 256MB model, i've used them and it's actually a pretty decent card.
