I'm trying to buy some head phones for my computer, I've been comparing between the sony mdr v600 and the sony mdr v6 and I can't tell which one is better, can you guys tell me which one is better?

Don't know much about the Sonys but I like my Sennheisers.

Same here. I have hd280s and am very happy with them. My gf's hd212s are nice too 🙂

I think a friend of mine has the mdr v6's and he likes them, but I don't know how they compare to the other sonys

Sennheiser has a very full range of headphones only their top tier models (580, 595, 600, 650) are worth considering, and that's with a very good source and headphone amp due to high ohm.

Sony V6's a good budget headphone, skip the V600.

I got all the suggestings about headphone right here in these very forums. I finally settled on my Sennheiser 595. WOW, the sound is amazing, especially when gaming. I went the extra mile and got a good amp with it.

thanks for the advice guys, that really helped. I've decided on the v6, as for all the Sennheiser headphone recommendations, maybe next time.

You can never have too many headphones, just ask the guys over at the above mentioned head-fi.
