I know there are quite a few astute writers in here who have perhaps read some of these titles and/or PoliSci majors. Here's my assignment in short: Compare and contrast different aspects of a majpr political problem area from a choice of books(which I have listed along with the topics) in order to more fully understand the contemporary scene. Analyze viewpoints of others and express your own as well as others.

from a quick glance, the easiest would be the environmental issues, next would be race relations. women's relations would be simple also.

otherwise, i'm not going to help you anymore...

are they asking you have read these books also? if so, good luck and get reading. for the best grade you must refer to the literature.

EDIT: you bring shame to poli sci majors... i hope this is just a GE... i don't know many people who take comparative for a GE however. get cracking.
