Hi all.
My uncle recently bought a Compaq PC, one of the Pavillion series things. It doesn't come with any installation CDs.
It does however come with software that can make a backup of all system files, and Compaq software, in case something happens.
Well, something happened. Yesterday, while trying to create such a (11 CD) set, the power went out. The first CD was created, but not the other ten...
After finally being able to restart and running the backup program again we found out that Compaq's software only allows one set of CDs to be created. He now tells me that after talking to the vendor there's absolutely no way that he can order a pre-made set. Nice!
Does anyone know of a workaround for this? A file to delete, registry setting to change, etc?
TIA
