AMD Athlon XP-M 2800+ is not fast: 1.60 GHz, 128K L2 cache. That's slower than a Sempron 2400+.

MUST get the upgrade to A64 for this laptop.
 
anyone else think these aren't xp mobiles rather sempron cores Athlon 64s, the clock speed and cache dont match XP-m and you can upgrade the same computer to A64 for little?

Correct these are juts "semprons" that came out before the sempron name was used. So you can get one with the "XP-M" chip and upgrade later
